Project: Music For Flash - Trailer Theme

EDIT: I uploaded a new file that includes some minor sound and structure changes. I brought out the treble by several decibels and scratched the first chorus in order to make a more unified, unilateral build up/growth. Thoughts?

The original is by Kerry Muzzey, a composer for film and television. The first half of the song is a traditional view of the Palladio, while the second half is my own personal remix/rendition.

All the string instruments were recreated using the Edirol Orchestral VSTi.
The drumbreak sequences where made using basic snare, hat, and kick samples that I personally tweaked using a midpass EQ, phaser, multi-band compressor, FL fast dist, fruity compressor, and of course reeverb and delay.

If you enjoy this song, please feel free to check out my others!

And add me as a favorite artist! :]

I love how it builds up towards the end. It's as though to prepare the listener for something very intense that is about to happen. Thanks for the upload!

truly you must tell me how many music studios have offered to hire you
and i cant belive you havent accepted one of thier offers by now

anyway i like it , it has a nice build up but the (should i say snares?) in the background get repetitive in the underlay, i cant wait to see were you add the explosion of happyness that you seem to add in every one of your pieces of music
no matter what genre you do it in im sure you can fit it in there

"The lone thing that I don't like about this song.."

date: December 17, 2008

is that it's repetitive. But I can't believe that I have to compete against this! Another classical piece, and a damn good one too! Damn!

My Mac08 classical smorgisborg of a monstrous conglomeration of a song should be done in about a week. And rest assured, it will be monstrous.

Author's Response:

It's a little repetitive, but it's supposed to build up a climax :]
