I wrote this as my entry for a music contest this summer.
The original intention was for it to be a mini suite, consisting of three parts: The Betrayal, The Vengeance and The Settling. During the composing work, I realised that the track would do well to end with the "betrayal" theme, thus closing an imaginative circle of the song, and as of thus, this could be viewed as only having two different parts. Also, time was running tight because of some sad circumstances that occurred at the time of writing, which resultet in the middle part, "The Vengeance", being shortened down quite a bit. Still so, I think this turned into a quite epic score.

Orchestration:
---------------------
Piccolo flutes
Flutes
Oboes
Bassoons
First horns
Second horns
First trumpets
Second trumpets
Trombones
Solo trombone
Tubas
Timpani
Various epic percussions (anvils, taikos, etc)
Tubular bells
Xylophone
Orchestral harp
Piano
Four-piece choir (baritone, tenor, alto, soprano)
First violins
Second violins
Violas
Cellos
Contrabasses
---------------------

Thank you for listening to what I believe to be one of my best tracks.

(And in case you wondered, the 'suite' part of the name is only there because someone beat me to uploading a song entitled "The Betrayal" ;-) )

Outstanding!

This is a very well done piece of music. It started with a deep feeling of solitude. Then rage. Desperatly trying to right what was wronged.
And lastly, remorse. Even though they got their revenge, it still rang as a hollow victory in the end. Keep 'em coming! 9/10
