Hip Hop, Rap, R&B - Hip Hop - Modern

Author Comments

Given to me in the joint because of the nature of my offense. I think the third verse is the best, but the chorus and all the metaphors are good as well. Track produced by Shadow Black of Shadowland, Inc., recorded in the Torture Chamber in Reading, PA.

Stay up

Hip hop > Rap, always

akak, Nimbus isn't the guy who you go to for pity or sadness. Nimbus is the guy you listen to to have your fucking face ripped off by insane rhymes and brutal flow (brutal in the good way). But ya akak, if you're all that, let's hear you get on the mic. I'm interested to hear this.

Nimbus, as usual, amazing lyrics and killer flow. The only thing is that once again I think you need o turn your mic up a little bit more. It's much better, and maybe this is just my headphones, but I definitely think your voice could stand to come out a bit more.

Not a very good rapper are you. A little me emotion and less recitation would probably actually get you a cover though.

NimbusTheGeneral responds:

I promote lyricism, not emo. You want emo, find another genre to listen to. I don't make ass shakin' songs or any of that bullshit mainstream garbage on the radio. I appreciate the 9, however you can't say I'm not a good "rapper". Rap is garbage, I'm Hip-Hop and there's a big difference. Someone you know have harder lyrics?

Objectively you didn't say anything except what your opinion was. If you didn't think the track was good enough, what (other than the emotional factor) was wrong with the track?
