nice name :) Anyway im 50/50 on expanding on this in the future, i can see little bits of potential, but i really wouldn't know where to go. Help plox? :) anyway please enjoy, this was my first song over a minute ;D MILESTONE!!!

I have no idea what genre this fits into. It's techno, but its also ambient. Seeing as it has a drum beat right at the start im gunna call it techno ;) tell me if its something else xD

You'll hopefully notice that the drums are pretty nice. I'm above average when it comes to making drums, ive made a few cool little loops. I might put them all in a song with gaps in between and submit that. YES/NO?

Nice

Good one there.

The drum loop is pretty great, haven't heard much like it. I do have a few suggestions for it, though.

1) Lower them a little. Right now I think they take over a bit.
2) Vary them at least at some point. Make a filler, change it up when you switch parts, etc. Something to make them less predictable.

Other than that, it's a great piece. Good work. =D

thanks! this is made a year ago, im better know ;P

yes i agree the drums are very overpowering and definitely could use with some variation and depth, it's a bit monotonous

xD thanks for the review!

Decent beat, good ambiance

I like the basis of what you are going with here. I'd like to hear the ambiance and sound effects lead into the drum beat. While you have a good SOUNDING drum loop, it could use some variation and depth with maybe some congas or side stick.

Keep working on this. I think that if you just play it through, adding some notched tunes or other instruments with the beat, you could have a pretty complete song!

thanks so much ;D

yes this is back in the dasy where i'd chuck the drum in first off without kinda leading into it with even a couple of kicks then progressing into the main drum, or with an instrument first.

im glad that a year ago my songs are still getting pretty alright reviews!

cheers, DJ Zoysa
