Industrial thing. Plenty of Reznor influence but at the same time some Aphex Twin and Throbbing Gristle among others. It has vocals which are mixed too low in volume but I messed up with the files and the render so unless I completely redid the last minute of the song it wasn't going to change.

At first I would've liked to have a real guitar rather than the distorted synth running through a combo sim... Then again I think the fake-ness of that sound which ties in with the theme of systematic misinformation in the lyrics, so I wouldn't change it now for the world.

EDIT: Most of of this track was done in November 2007. Got stuck at the 3m40s mark and didn't know where to go with it so I left it to rest until about March or April 2008 when I did the ending.

LYRICS:
Naked and exposed
Filthy and unclothed
Overwhelmed by woes
Ready to impose
Grief agenda planned
Briefed in repremand
Yet to understand
Walking, death in hand

Publicly appear
Instigating fear
Proclaim the end is near
To every open ear
Awareness of attack
From strangers dressed in black
And traitors in the pack
Seeping through the crack

They made sense to me at the time, anyway.

I am a huge fan of industrial music and Trent Reznor. And yes, it is true that you've been inspired by him.

The beat is epic and catchy and the lyrics are quite good. Keep up the good work.

Those lyrics sound awesome! I Don't think any punk band could come up with those.

Your song was excellent. I might use it in a Flash. :-)

I was unaware there was such a thriving industrial group in newgrounds. I recently got hooked on industrial ( i loved both metal and techno for the longest time) But anyways, great work, keep it up, i knew this was a winner after the first minute.

Author's Response:

As far as I'm aware the industrial section here is one of the most active (and picky!) groups on NG.

Thanks for the kind words :)
