WOOOOOOO,

So here we go.

First off, I want to say thank you to the community, the overwhelming amount of support really helped me to keep a positive attitude through this whole ordeal. Earlier this morning, I got a call from an old friend of mine that just so happened to lose a roommate.
Now I'm sitting comfortably back in an apartment, with my music setup all ready to go.

You guys have been so absolutely wonderful and so supportive.
As thanks, I'm going to go ahead and upload this song. It was going to be released with the upcoming album, but I really wanted you guys to have it.

I've put more work into this song than any other song I've done so far. I hope you guys enjoy it.

There is a story that goes with this one, but I'll save that for another time. If you'd like the brief outline, send me a PM and I'll tell it to you. Otherwise, let your imaginations run wild :D

Thanks again guys, and I hope you enjoy this! :D

Pure Mental Orgasm

There is nothing I can say that hasn't already been said. This is a very mellow piece that has just the right amounts of everything in it. And even with as long as it is, my only complaint is that it isn't longer!

Nub is back in town!

Absolutely remarkable, man. It's great you were able to pull through the homeless situation, it's really not a spot anybody wants to be in. Expecially now. It's amazing that your friend just so happened to have called you, or else who knows? You would still be living in your car. It's that positive attitude you kept, God was on your side. :)

The song is definitely amazing. The breaks sound phenominal, and the whole orchestral parto f the song just has so much feeling to it, so much depth. It's just heartwarming to listen to, and really opens up my mind to different possibilities of what could be happening. The buildup to the ending was very well constructed, and just the whole song as an entirety had this sort of feeling it let out. It's almost as if I could tell what you were feeling through the car situation, or what you were feeling when you were composing the piece. You have what it takes to make it in the big time, you have what most newer composers seem to lack. The feeling that they add to their music.

Some newer compositions put into movies or games now just have no feeling, no emotion, like the composer just didn't put any of themselves into the song, and this is just all totally you. You put just so much emotion and feeling into this, ahh now I sound like a douche talking about emotions. It had a good feeling to it is the point I'm trying to get across, and I really liked it. Keep it up man, keep it up. At first I had never heard of some of your stuff, but now you're getting yourself out there, your making more music, exploring genres, making new sounds, experimenting with your stuff. And let me tell you, you hit this one ON THE SPOT. One of your longest pieces, and one of your best. Make more classical stuff, you definitely have what it takes. Try some IDM too, your breaks and glitches are really quite good, I don't feel like I'm just listening to retarded glitches thrown in to a basic 4/4 beat. It was also very god how you contrasted between glitchcore breaks and regular beats, it added a very nice effect.

All in all, very very good. 10/10, 5/5. Wish I could rate it higher, because I really think you deserve it. Good job Nub, keep up the good work. :)

P.S. Mind if I make a cut at 4:36 so I can step it for FFR? :D

Wew

This song is awesome. Darn near perfect. It IS perfect by Newgrounds standards. Which is why I give you a ten out of ten.

Just one question though which I'd really like you to answer here, is the violin part that loops from 6:50 - almost the end taken from {Collosus} by Cornandbeans?

nubbinownz responds:

no sir, to be honest I haven't heard that song yet, though I'm definitely going to take a listen to it now.

Thank you for great review :D
