I felt that my songwriting was getting stuck in a bit of a rut, so I decided to mix it up a bit. Write a song without piano, orchestra, or a rockin climax at the end. And so I did that. Well, pretty much.
The whole mix was intentionally left a little quiet, to let the drums float over the guitars, so feel free to turn up the volume a tad.
I promise I won't rape your ears.
As always, feedback is appreciated.

Started to put me to sleep.
But in these times, thats exactly what I need, the stress of school, a new president and home issues. This works perfectly. The song is a little too quiet though. Piano might have fit in here though, add a small piano background and this would work.
thanks for the constructive criticism, its hard to come across that these days.
i definitely learned a lot about mixing during this song, but it did come out a little quiet. as for the piano, i intentionally left one out for personal goals, but you're right that it would fit in. you gave me some stuff to think about, thanks.
