Bass - Mrbungl3

Software used: The usual..

We worked quite a lot on this one. The idea was to create something apocalyptic and sad, like a "theme for armageddon" or something. Voice clips are from "Duck and cover" and a JFK Speech.

Ps: Use headphones if you can

"Pretty Good!"

I liked it! Mixing the "duck and cover" educational video was a good idea.

The only really problem I had with the song was that it became repetitive.
The "chug" "chug" "chug" of the guitar got tiring after a bit.

Overall though it was pretty good!

Thank you kind Sir. I see what you mean. Less "chugging", more variaton. Got it.

"Eh..."

Generally, heavy metal songs cannot be songs about an apocalypse.

This wasn't sad or apocalyptic at all, and personally, voice clips in music aiming for an apocalyptic feel takes away the atmosphere of the song.

And the song got quickly boring.

Better luck next time, or try another area for your next song.

Thanks for reviewing MrAids. Too bad it didn't work for you.

"Generally, heavy metal songs cannot be songs about an apocalypse." I'd say any song, from acid jazz to polka can be about anything. Just open your mind, lean back and picture the wasteland dude..

Author's Response:

Thanks for the review. 9\10.. I can live with that.
I guess by "dry" you mean dull? We'll be trying to add vocals to our future songs to spice them up a little.
Cheers!
