Let me just first say that Mirror's Edge is AWESOME. Definitely one of the most unique games I've played in years, it's just too bad it's pretty short (but still very replayable!).

The music in this game is really good, I don't think anyone couldn't get around it if you've seen any trailer. So here's my contribution to the amazing OST of Mirror's Edge!

A great piece with great inspiration and very inspiring in itself. I like the switch you did towards the electric guitars. And building up the texture of the piece constantly, I could easily imagine parkouring around listening to this music. I am a little worried that if I put this song on my ipod I might just start doing weird things in public (and probably end up getting myself hurt). The only problem I can see with this piece is a bit of equalizing, I would love to hear more of the piano part, the bass tends to drown it out when it is playing. other than that, a masterfull piece with a clear amount of hard work put into it.

Wow, cool review!

I'm glad you enjoyed the switch, and haha don't do anything weird in public lol :P
i have fear of hights and I even get a little scared when I am on a big building in Mirror's Edge... i could never do stuff like that :O

And the piano part was from the game itself, there sadly was not more to it... although I could have probably expanded on it a little, i think it would've hurt more than it would have helped :( but that's the risks we take I suppose!

Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed the song and definitely thanks for such a thorough review :)

Great job!

This is absolutely an amazing piece. I really like how you use some short melodies you also used in Don't Give A Damn. yeah, I heard that. But it doesn't matter. Wonderful song.

NemesisTheory responds:

Short melodies? :D
The piano at the end of Don't Give A Damn, you mean? If that's what you mean, then I am impressed! Especially considering those notes in DGAD are on a slightly different scale :D

anyway, I'm glad you like this song! :)

A coup of sound

A wonderful piece, expertly crafted into a work of art. (Love the guitars.) Well done.

You hooked me at the first 28 seconds. I have yet to get mirrors edge, (too busy with Left 4 Dead) but when Christmas comes around, the beast shall be mine! Ive played the demo god knows how many times, and it's still fun as shit. I loved the original beat, and this is just as good! I hope DICE finds this song so they'll put it in one of the sequels! Excellent job!

ohmygod Left 4 Dead is so great! I've been playing that a lot with friends too! I've actually been playing that instead of Mirror's Edge as well XD so I know how you feel really :)

If DICE finds this song, i'd probably freak out XD

thank you for the review :)
