Here is the fourth, but should have been third, installment of Trials and Tribulations. This one was a collab with a friend mainly because of the vocals. They were more of a last minute decision though it took longer than a day to get it done and no of course they aren't mine but were done by my friend Keith. So props to him for the great job in bringing this all together. I hope you appreciate all the hard work that went into this.

Great piece here man, i love it! Around 1:03 i think string that comes into sounds a little wierd. I really liked the vocals and how you used to the strings to go with them. This sounds like it could be in one of those RPG games with a trailer, i think it would fit fairly well. I loved the build up from the beginning it sounded very professional. My favorite parts were from the beginning to around :50. It would have been cool if you used the drums alot more and made it sound even more epic than it already is. I really liked the composition you made, its simply great. I think if you added a drum kind of like this http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/liste n/177990 it would sound more of a cool movie feel. I love your work and i would love to hear more from you, i will be keeping track of your music from this day forward! Also don't take my review seriously i really don't know much about music but i do and try to create my own even without having any eduction in it. Anyways can't wait to hear more from you in the future, goodbye for now!

Sorry for the late reply, thanks for the review. Funny enough the drums always seem to be lacking for one person or another but I'll be sure to take into consideration what you've said and definitely look forward to hearing from you again.

"Fantastic"

date: December 1, 2008

I'm currently checking out music for a project I'll be working on for the next 5 months. Classical music like this being my favorite kind to use in movies, I'm glad I checked this out.

This piece is brilliant. I love how it builds up, gives a real feeling of tension and excitement which is magnified even more because of the amazing vocals.

Only thing that could be improved on, as Holydrainer already mentioned, is the bass, or lack there of.

But still, I've added some of your compositions to my favorites, and seeing as you're a brilliant musician with very little pieces here on NG, I'm also adding you to my favorite musicians.

As for the project, I'm pretty sure I'll be using this piece. This will add a lot to the quality of the movie, so thanks in advance. I'll send you a PM once the movie starts to take shape (about a month from now) and when I finish it.

Keep up the good work ;)

Author's Response:

Thank you for taking an interest in my pieces and helping to get it out there to the public. Its not everyday that someone helps to promote the work of others. I've also heard from a few others about the lack of bass with which I quite agree and will work on. I appreciate you taking the time to review.

In addition, its a pleasure to hear that you will be using this piece in your upcoming project. I will be looking forward to to hearing from you in the coming months.
