= = BE SURE TO CHECK OUT MY OTHER 8-BIT TRACKS, ALL LABELED AS 8-BIT FOR EASY FINDING = =
NOTE: This is an ORIGINAL song, NOT a remix of any 8-bit game.
This is A Hero Rises, an original 8-bit piece with the idea in mind of being the music for the cheesy intro and title screen of an awesome NES game. Once the main story part is done, you have the classic title screen riff play separately, thus the pause in between parts near the end of the track.
It's all part of a new musical project I've just started, found at myspace(dot)com(slash)dae datheus .
This song strictly follows the NES hardware rules - no more than 3 wave channels at once + a noise channel. This means there are NEVER MORE THAN 3 NOTES PLAYING AT ANY GIVEN TIME, just like a real 8-bit NES chiptune.
Enjoy.

Wow!
This really cool! Sounds like a CLASSIC NES down to the T. I love the little sound effect at 1:48. Perfect ending! 5/5

god damn
You're stuff is just so impressive that it makes me depressed. Because you're a bloody fantastic composer, and I know it'll take a loooong time for me to get where you are haha.
Anyways, like always the song was fantastic. I love the energetic and gleeful feel that the song embodies, and I absolutely see myself playing an NES game to this. The composition overall is great, there's plenty of variety and its just interesting to listen to, which can be a hard feat with 8 bit.
Keep making more music, and PM me ANYTIME you release new songs, I want to hear em all!
5/5 and 10, looking forward to more :D

Speechless...
Would I also be able to use this song?
Hey! Thanks for the nice review. Yup you can use this song provided that I am clearly credited in the work, and the animation/game that you use it in is not used for any commercial purpose. I'd love to see what you do with it, so let me know if you finish something! Cheers.
