If link couldn't sleep, damn straight he'd be listening to this to help put his mind at ease ^_^
When I remixed this song the first time (Temple of Time: Distant Thunder), I didn't feel like I did it justice because I couldn't add the voices I wanted to. After I got my software this week, I got my chance to share my vision of this song.
Sometimes you may think I've made up the melody, but guess what!?! If you listen close enough, you'll hear that I have a melody line that is almost IDENTICAL to the Temple of Time music throughout the whole song! That's why choral music is so great: take one melody, and make it sound like something completely different by switching up the chords.
(Yeah, Amy, you totally inspired me to do this too.)
SO I hope you like it!
And Yes.
That is me singing.
ALL the parts ^_^

Astonishing!
I'd have written a review sooner, but I was too busy marveling at this wonderful piece!
Anyhoo, this piece is what got me into your music in the first place. The first time this piece started playing, I just stopped everything else I was doing and listened. Nostalgia came crashing over me like a giant wave with no intent of taking me with it. I remember playing through Ocarina of Time for the first time (I was in 5th grade) and I was plunking out each of the ocarina songs on the keyboard at home whenever I wasn't playing. I am now a full-fledged music student going into my junior year at college, and my appreciation for music (including video game music) has never been greater.
But I digress, and now I go into this piece. Since high school, I've always been a sucker for slow, almost ethereal choral pieces, and this short piece of music captures those qualities almost perfectly. The reverberation and layers of voices made me imagine that I was in the Temple of Time itself, praying for all the darkness that was upon the land to disappear. And although it was you who actually sang those words and those notes within the layers, every time I listen to this piece, I always think that there are angels around me, singing, alleviating the burdens that gather on my shoulders from day to day life, and giving me the chance to listen to true beauty. Your voice is truly phenomenal. It sends a shiver down my spine in a good way.
I've used this track to both calm my nerves after a rough day and also as a background track for my table-top RPG campaigns whenever a choir of angels is needed. It sets a peaceful atmosphere and brings a smile to my face and a tear from my eyes.
As one musician to another, thank you for making this arrangement of a nostalgic piece from my youth. I am now humbled as a human being. Don't stop doing what you love.

Wow. Thank you ^_^ I dunno about angels, but I am flattered that you use this piece for various purposes. Also, you're very kind.
I hope to continue to impress in the future!
