If link couldn't sleep, damn straight he'd be listening to this to help put his mind at ease ^_^

When I remixed this song the first time (Temple of Time: Distant Thunder), I didn't feel like I did it justice because I couldn't add the voices I wanted to. After I got my software this week, I got my chance to share my vision of this song.
Sometimes you may think I've made up the melody, but guess what!?! If you listen close enough, you'll hear that I have a melody line that is almost IDENTICAL to the Temple of Time music throughout the whole song! That's why choral music is so great: take one melody, and make it sound like something completely different by switching up the chords.
(Yeah, Amy, you totally inspired me to do this too.)
SO I hope you like it!
And Yes.
That is me singing.
ALL the parts ^_^

Music

Being in music programs gives you talent. I play the viola, but this is the most amazing choir piece I've ever heard. The lyrics are in latin, am I correct? I can tell you did this with pride. I would pay to listen to this song (if I wasn't broke). You Alisa have amazing talent in choir. Never stop getting involved in choir. Keep up the good work.

Thank you. I won't lie; I've been dedicated to choral music for almost half my life, and I do take pride in that.
And I'm glad you thought this song was worthy of capital! $$

Also, on a crazy side note, never give up your viola. I used to play violin religiously--I won contests, played in a trio with my sisters, etc.--and then I stopped when the stress of practice time became too much. I still play, but not nearly as well as I could have if I had kept going when it got tough.
So at the risk of sounding like a parent, don't give up your viola!

THAT'S YOU???

Wow, very few people have the talent to compose and sing their art without being on drugs, generally. You aren't on drugs, right?
Anyway, amazing song

Solid work.

I enjoyed this rendition of the classic song to the fullest. Your voice is absolutely breath taking and you did an imaculate job. The echo/harmony that you created really popped the song out from what most would think about doing. It's very majestic in a haunting way.

There were just a few things to note that could be improved upon. One would be that the song doesn't come full circle like the acctual choir piece this mimics. It was easy to pick out the fact this ends without the first part being repeated at the end. The second issue ties in with the first, in the fact that the song ends too abruptly. Unlike a traditional lullaby, there is no dechreshendo as the song comes to a close.

Other than these two things, I thouroughly enjoyed the work. Maybe link this up with an orchestal piece? I can only see good things if you did.

I appreciate your feedback!
I also apologize about the dynamics for this song; I was just getting used to adding my mic to my program, so that may account for some of the lack of detail.

But I appreciate your 8 ^_^
