If link couldn't sleep, damn straight he'd be listening to this to help put his mind at ease ^_^

When I remixed this song the first time (Temple of Time: Distant Thunder), I didn't feel like I did it justice because I couldn't add the voices I wanted to. After I got my software this week, I got my chance to share my vision of this song.
Sometimes you may think I've made up the melody, but guess what!?! If you listen close enough, you'll hear that I have a melody line that is almost IDENTICAL to the Temple of Time music throughout the whole song! That's why choral music is so great: take one melody, and make it sound like something completely different by switching up the chords.
(Yeah, Amy, you totally inspired me to do this too.)
SO I hope you like it!
And Yes.
That is me singing.
ALL the parts ^_^

"Excellent work"

date: February 6, 2010

This is definitely an exceptional piece of work. Though the changes are small and the original song is quite simple, you've changed a baseline ominous feel to a multi-emotional piece.

I see this being played at a point between timelines in OoT. It would definitely fit in the signature "darkest hour" moment. The somber and nigh-dismal feel with the main and bassline along with the combination of the of the higher accompaniments gives the silver-lining effect to the song.

I can't stop picturing something like Zelda praying at the altar of the temple as Ganondorf is almost complete with his hostile takeover of Hyrule. Zelda in a black cloak and that black-as-night cloud cover outside would give the picture a full feel.

Anyway, it's great work.

This is one of the most mellow songs i have ever heard to be honest with you and if a Zelda song were to have lyrics and vocals this would be great, this is a wonderful lullaby type song and i think you did a very good job on it and what makes it really impressive is that you sung it. =)
