Easy Listening - Classical

Author Comments

A short, 36 second piece for horn in F, trumpet in Bb, tuba, harp, piano, 2 violins, viola, cello and contrabass. Very light and happy, with a time signature that changes between 3/4 and 4/4 frequently. Has a simple structure as it's short.

I really almost WOULD like to apologize for the low score, but I gave it to you for a reason. For a classical song, it is quite repetitious and somewhat annoying. I could imagine this being in a series like "The Happy Tree Friends", but then it still wouldn't exactly be a classical piece. I'm not enjoying the lack of 'dimension' or what you would normally call dynamics, but there is still just a bit to this song that is pleasing. I like the melody a little, and the plucks are a cute addition. Heheh. Lighthearted and happy song? A little more clashy, clumsy, but still cute. Just keep working at it!

Take care,
