"A Geisha Spider comes to mind."
date: January 15, 2009
It's impossible to disagree with ubertuna's praise, to begin with. This beats out Paragon's work on so many levels. If anything we should be pumping this full of fives until people start discovering it... it proves how amazing you are at this stuff.
The traditional idea of the Geisha Spider comes to mind whenever I listen to this. It's so charming, yet mysterious and even menacing (owed to the dissonance, mostly) at times. Visualizing it, I'm always convincing myself I'm worried that the beautiful woman's going to turn around and devour somebody whole, still gently prodding silk strings in a hypnotic melody with some of her extra legs.
