For jmtb02's Dark Cut 3

Today we find our surgeon in the trenches of France in 1917 during the first World War. The thundering and numerous explosions throw dirt everywhere, a surgeon's worst nightmare. Rushing through the crowd and fallen forces alike.

He looks further ahead and finds his patient. Putting down his tools it's time to begin.

Hardcore man. But being as a large reviewer there could be a few adjustments. Like at exactly 1:00 where it gets quieter maybe you could've of done a diminuendo to it instead of having it so sudden. You could've also stretched out the length or maybe have the drums change more.

From the great gamergod

p.s. jk i'm not great but what i mainly do here is review anyway. Thank for reading ^.^

MaestroRage responds:

all true, however the biggest constraint that had to be handled with all these loops pertaining to DC 3 is the length. It can't be over a minute, or at least shouldn't be too much longer then that because let's face it, with 7 songs, each about a minute long *the main theme is actually 2*, at standard 128 kbs we're already at 8mbs.

8mbs! That's already monstrous for a flash file, and with Flash's maximum compression we might be able to cut that down to 6mb, but even still that's not a small number, so a lot of the things I thought would be appropriate wouldn't fit.

As for the drums, I was afraid changing them up would make the song wear out quicker. But under normal circumstances I would agree with you whole heartadly, I'll try to change up the drums and see if the effect isn't too bad.

Thank you for your honest review, i'm glad you liked it!
