this is a remix of a commodore 64 song called "link to the past" - I don't believe its actually from zelda at all, I think thats just what whoever originally made it called it - sadly I dnt know offhand who the creator of the original song was either..- I decided I could redo it and beef it up as the original was catchy, yet bland :) - enjoy!

Also, this is the first song I've uploaded that I've made with my new computer - with lots and lots of space and cpu and memory :P - and also with my brand new production speakers - so it sound REAAAALLLY good on a sub - I highly recommend giving it a speaker listen as well as a headphones listen :P

*edit* I made some changes, lowered the hihats, beefed up the crash, reduced the sine backing at the end, just little suggestions people had, I hope you still enjoy it :)

Bad ass

I enjoyed the game as much as I enjoyed this submission. Great twist on the song. I like how you can take this and make it your own, while maintaining the originalality of the original version. Great job dude!

yeah man I'm all about maintaining the original sound - because I've heard too many peoplerape a song by trying to make it "unique" and just butchering the melody - imo you should never erally change the main melody as that's what people want to hear that's familiar- you can change everything else though.

NIce Beat, Nice remix.

I like how you can kind of feel the original song in it, but however in many ways it is nothing like the original track. I can really appreciate that, Also it is a great loop.
