I got the inspiration for this from another song I heard. I don't know what the song was called, but I loved it! The name of this song is a reference to XKCD...

Anyway, for those of you curious the beat was made by distorting (no fancy distortion; just a clipper) and EQ'ing the whole thing in a single FX channel. This is actually a very effective method for pretty much anything. Play with it! The rest of the song was just samples--except for the kick. The kick was run through EQ.

If you use this in a mix or something, please, please, please let me know. I'd really like to hear how it gets used. The last several measures (16 or so) were put there just to be mixing friendly, but they actually came out sounding quite nice as part of the whole song. Also, if anybody feels that my song is *not* true techno...then I'm sorry you feel that way. I really, really, really, really hate putting songs like these in genres.

PLEASE REVIEW AND RATE THIS SONG! I love hearing what people think about my stuff.

AND if you hear Mario samples in the song, it's because there are Mario samples in the song. It's the jumping noise, on the last beat of every 2nd measure.

nice beat but it needs some eletronic sounds *hint* *hint*

theta4 responds:

electronic sounds...beeps? blips? whirrs? squeels? hmmmm...i'll have to think about that.

edit: oh, you mean synths...mkay. i'll use that in the future!
