So this is the secret song from our new EP. I don't know how many people will actually buy it, and in my opinion, this stuff is all too good to not let the world hear it! So hear, possibly for a limited time only, just for you, the fans, is "Jake Is A Mongoloid." Jake is our drummer, btw.
I'll leave this up until one of the guys makes me take it down. Download while you can! :P who knows, maybe it'll stay up??
As always, reviews are appreciated, though keep in mind, this is a secret song, and as such, the quality is a bit on the low side. This is entirely intentional. Reviews saying 'The sound quality is low' are not helpful. Thanks guys, enjoy!

This song is just flat-out funny. I can see the purpose of the song, which makes it even funnier. I have no idea what a "mongoloid" is, but it makes a good song! :D

It's what Down Syndrome sufferers were called before it was called Down Syndrome. It's pretty horrible, really, but we basically use the term like most would use 'retard.' Shh, don't tell anyone!
Err.....
I understand where you're coming from, really, but please... for the sake of ska change the trumpets; they are the only bad bone I have to pick with the song, as I listen to ska often, but the trumpet needs to be much better as it is a focal instrument for most ska songs.
I don't mean to offend, but to offer constructive criticism (I typed this BEFORE reading the text below the review box - I do know what it means).

The bone you are picking is an intentional aspect of the song. This was written to sound terrible as a sort of joke. Both horn parts were improv-ed, in the studio, with instructions to 'make it sound awful.' I'm sorry if you don't care for it, but it's not intended to be cohesive or harmonious in any way. :P
Check out some of our other, more serious stuff. It's a lot better, honest!

As for SKAzini (Detective Jabsco), we all have a lot of respect for their work, as well as Chr1sTh3G33k aka Dealey Plaza, the AOKs, and a lot of the other talented artists here on NG. Rest assured, we listen to their stuff, as well as a lot of other good Ska. I mean, check out our favorites. They're all there, haha.
The high points...well, I guess there are some people out there who like the crap we spew. Whooda thunkit?

i wasn't sure whether i should give this 0 stars or 10 stars. the sound quality was bad, but that was what you were aiming for, so that makes it good. so if i gave it a 10, it could mean that i liked the song, or that you did good at making it sound bad. however, a 0 would mean the exact opposite. i liked the song, but at the same time, you succeeded in your goal of making it sound bad. so i decided to compromise and give it a 5, since it's good, and yet bad at the same time. however, i voted 5 to raise your score, that way other people would see it and want to listen.
