"great composition!"

date: October 27, 2008

It's super lovely but it's on the short side development wise; unless that was your goal then forget what I just said. ;P

PS - This sounds just like my friend's live ambient band "Balun". Check then out!!1 They have a couple of CDs out there.
Great stuff, keep them comin'!!!

"Nice Breakdown!"

date: October 27, 2008

Your style has good atmosphere! The beginning is interesting and catches the listener. all the harmonal sounds keep the mind fluctuating as you add drums that capture the time. The break down is awesome where you started to do some IDM glitch.

This piece can go farther! More variance to the track and more intricate weaves would make for a nice climax or ending.

I made the ending just a fade out because I thought it would be well suited for this month's MAC competition. I tried coming up with a different ending, but that didn't work out so well :P

Thanks for the review :)

"Oh my god.."

date: October 18, 2008

This is so perfect its not even funny! The intro literally brought tears to my eyes. You have perfected atmospheric music my friend. You've created a new genre, i call it Ambiospherics because its like a mixture of ambience and atmosphere, this song takes me so far out of reality that i don't even know where i am by the time i'm done listening to it.

My vision:
In the intro i see a small little creature in an unknown world, hatching from an egg weaved only out of light, it opens its eyes to see a forest of blending colors and its mother, made of all elements calling out to it. When the drums come in i imagine the creature taking its first steps and becoming accquainted with its reality, then when the drums stop, the creature has discovered something.. Water, a river with a waterfall. The creature goes to swim in the water when the second set of drums come in, and the world starts to glitch, shake, and split. Then the creature realizes nothing was real at all, it was just a dream, and it wakes up as a human, laying in his bed staring at his ceiling fan.

This indeed is a ambient musicstyle. Very relaxing, soft, very nice to listen to in background and still somehow interesting. Well done Vege!
Wondering what thoughts you had when you made it.
