Man. Does anyone even remember this game anymore? It was probably the best thing since Zelda.
Hell, it [was] the best thing since Zelda in my opinion. If you have the opportunity, buy this, download it, whatever. It's one of the classics of action RPG, and one of my personal favorites.
If there ever was a game that should be put onto the Wii's Virtual Console, this is it.

"Never played but sounds QUITE nice"

date: March 31, 2009

Having never played this game, i have the advantage of not being tied down to a set of memories.. When someoen listens to a familar song, they instantly remind themselves of past experances. So.. i figured this was a town theme, but never listening to it before, it sounds like something that would be played at a rather posh mansion, or would actually be accompanied with a scene of kids playing at a rather large area. There is an undenyably upbeat "sweet" tone, and the background melody offers the "posh" feeling..

Like i said, no idea where this is originally from, but i can tell high quality music when i hear it.

By the way, this song was used in Episode 37

"Soul Blazer Indeed"

date: December 19, 2008

I remember this game quite clearly, and it was a fun one too. Its also part of a sorta-trilogy release by enix which included Illusion of Gaia and Terranigma. I recommend any one of these games as good games, but if I had to pick favorites, however, it would be Terranigma. It is possibly the best thing to happen to the SNES since Final Fantasy came to it and is definitely an epic game.

J00 get 5/5 and 9/10

Author's Response:

I still say Soul Blazer is the best. Illusion of Gaia and Terranigma didn't live up to Soul Blazer to me, though they are indeed awesome in their own right. Thanks for listening.

"The game was a lot of fun"

date: December 19, 2008

for whatever reason just not a remembered one or no one ever played it though this is hardly my fav song in the game it does fit well but obviously isnt the exact same thing so its not going to get down voted

March 22, 2009

Author's Response:

The game was a major memory for me. I still remember going to the video store and renting it for a week on end because I wanted to play it over and over again. Why it never caught on confuses me, but perhaps it was better this way. I vote we leave as a cult classic instead of mainstreaming it like Final Fantasy.
