Ok here it is, 13min 32sec of electronic psychedelic progressive grunge rock n' roll... if you can get over the slushy 80k bitrate guitars.
remixed 10-11-08, 0145 resubmitted... turned down the guitars and vocals a little, turned up the drums and bass, so there should be a little more clarity in the rhythm section now. i kept listening to it on different stereos and car stereos and yeah the guitars were way too loud. and as much as i like really loud guitars, there's too much intricate drum work there to have it so lost int he mix. it still gets a little lost somewhere in there, mostly the toms.\
RE-remixed 10-27-08 0124 - little more of the same. a genius mixer i am not. :)
A GRUNGE EPIC IN NINE PARTS
1. rainbow six
2. sic semper tyrannus
3. where we were
4. horrific chapters about to be written
5. the brink of war I
6. nothing special
7. the buildup
8. the brink of war II
9. finale
"the brink"
rhumba beat backseat
the war drum shimmies
throws rhetorical punches to make news
but America is a well intentioned foster parent
who thinks a smack on the rear is a hellfire missile
sic semper tyrannus
aren't you worried?
aren't you worried yet?
better start worrying, asap
sic semper tyrannus
take me back to the olden days
not good or bad but just the same
was it as simple as black and white or just as grey
as today
the pros and cons are infinite
actions all deliberate
but the hawks and hippies bleed the same for it
freedom
just how much
will we give up
to try to save our own hides
this is the part I hate
the waiting
if I am to fight I wish they'd bring it on
enough of this shit
how else will the panic end?
how do we get back to normal
when the auld lang syne are lost and mostly dead
hint: never again
this means war
without end
our children's children will do it all again
fear not sweet police
your enemies are drawing near
but as pure as your intentions may be
they inspire fear
no more tears
please I beg of you

Longest song on my playlist!
This beats Machine Gun by Jimi, in under a few seconds! Somehow this reminds of a Jimi song. The distortion adds a late 60's early 70's rythmn and bass, with grunge lead, drums, and vocals. Overall a great song, however could use some contrast somewhere. It would have been better labled General Rock, as there's too much synergy in everything to be labled the controlled chaos that is grunge. However, it's still deserving of a ten because it IS epic.
re-labeled general rock, because i agree, and mulled it over for a few months.

Great
Great epic long song. I don't see how this is a mess. It really follows the structure of an epic song where it starts out slow, then builds up really high, then drops and the builds up and ends. It's perfect. I wouldn't change it. You need to find someone who would sign you, because this is honestly a masterpiece. All it really needs is a really dirty (not low tuned, just not clear sounding) guitar solo to make it perfect. Keep up the great work.
alas, i don't even really consider myself a lead guitarist in any respect.

good, but there's an anoyin cliche here
it's the same problem with a lot of complex songs on this sight, not that well mastered, it just seems like one big mass. However, you can still make out the drums, guitar, and your (amazingly awesome) grunge voice in there, keep up the good work, just a little less bass would make this awesome.
site. not sight.
thanks. i have since remastered this song, and i appreciate you ear to some of the very things i myself realized. this does lose a lot in the rendering process to accommodate newgrounds' size limit for audio submissions. thanks for the compliments on my vocals! and the 9
be well
