I'm a big fan of funky, big beats and at the time I made this track I was heavily listening to artists like Fatboy Slim, The Chemical Brothers, Prodigy, The Crystal Method, and similar acts. I wanted to make a track in that style, but with video game influences, particularly games like Streets of Rage (composed by Yuzo Koshiro.) Imagine this song as playing while you're strutting down the street alone, beating up wave after wave of enemies without breaking a sweat!
