Experimented with alot of stuff on this one. I used a cool ambient noise loop with it, hope you like it. I used alot of speech as well, maybe a bit too much.

"dreamy sounds"

by: Carf

dreamy for sure... but it seems that you have been *playing* around a bit to much and it did not worked out that well in my opninion... lots of snaires and kicks are out of sync and it is not a real benefit... the track itself is hard to follow and becomes quiet repeditive. The vocals are mixed trough the track nicely. At some points to many sounds trying to earn their place on the front and they push away to many sounds to the back and then it gets quiet confussing what is all happening...

keep up the good work, you know what you are doing, that is for sure. ALL the words that I wrote down are my point of view and we are all here to learn from one another :0 Its creative sharing and caring.

Author's Response:

You don't like the offbeat snare huh? Thats a bummer, I thought it was cool. And for the record, I prefer the term *experiment* vs. *play* heheh. I think you're right about the mastering though, I'll have to go back and redo it, bring the noise loop down a bit in parts so the strings and such can flourish. Thanks for the critique :)
