STOLEN MELODY!
dude its from that youtube video!
Hey everybody:)
Just a quick little hardstyle song I made, in my opinion the way it should be. Nice, raw and hard.
Don't expect too much of it though, it's not really that good. If you guys like it, I'm gonna make the track a little longer, add some more to it, because like this, it feels kinda.. unfinished.
Feel free to give tips and tricks, I'll read every review and will try to respond to them all (like I get that many, lol).
Oh well, enjoy ;)
Greetings from a Dutch hardstyle lover.
If you're not in it for the love of the music
Would you please fuck off!
STOLEN MELODY!
dude its from that youtube video!
wat
Hmmm
Very heavy on the bass. But I liked it.The middle pirate esque bit is quite confusing though. I did like it though. A good little song. A bit generic, but still you mixed it up slightly. Good job

nice
flow is pretty legit. all samples and beats were hella clean. When the melody kicked in it through me off at first but as it changes up im thinkin its going to be pretty sick. overall nice melody synth and beat, did you think of trying side chaining? i think it would fit well. aslo the song sounds a bit distorted towards the end. hahah great job now just make it longer ;}
Haha, thanks, I made it longer ;) just check my other audio.
Not my thing - but good nonetheless
So this piece isn't exactly my favourite genre, but I don't care, as it's a well designed, arranged and performed song - you've got a great pumping beat through the intro, which leads nicely into the melody and the counter melody blends in nicely alongside it.
With a little more effort, it could really have something to drive it through, but it just seems to lack that killer instinct for me, when the beat rejoins the melody. I'm not sure why it doesn't quite seem to work the best, but that's probably when my understanding of this genre are over-extended.

Nah, I had the same feeling, I thought it sounded good, but it didn't give me ''goosebumps''. Yes, I get goosebumps from hardcore/hardstyle tracks :p
Thanks for the rev ;)
all over the place
try and focus on one type of sound, or mix between a couple at the same time, but don't switch so abruptly from one to the next, in other words add some structure to the piece, add and underlying beat to it to give some kind of measure, and don't rely on just one beat for so long in the intro it gets boring rather quickly, keep at it
