I originally mixed this for the Squaresound remix contest in early 2008, which essentially had people remixing any Uematsu tune for the shot at VIP tickets to a Distant Worlds concert in Chicago. I was honored to have actually won the contest! The show was great :)
Anyway, about the mix - I really used everything but the kitchen sink here. Guitars, hip hop drums, lots of synths, anvils, orchestral instruments, and everything in between. Besides the Devil's Lab theme, there's some Kefka and Umaro thrown in there too for good measure. I had an absolute blast making this, particularly the last 1/3 or so (almost all of which was done a few hours before the contest deadline.)

This is one of the best remixes of FF music on NG
I like how you mixed up all of the classic tunes and put a beat to 'em too. This song made me feel really nostalgic, while feeling new at the same time. Keep up the fantastic work. :D
BTW for no reason at all, my vote made the 1,337th one. (no lie, I'm serious) Should I laugh or be scared?

Excellent!
This is awesome to work out to at the gym, Hearing all the weights hitting each other fits well with this song. This has an awesome beat to it and personally it's one of favorite songs to begin with.

Whoa!
Fantastically intense! This song has so many different instuments and styles; it gives a vastly diverse musical experience while effectively keeping true to itself (never loses its core "feel"). Amazing work as always, and congratulations on the contest!
