ABOUT HALFWAY IN IT GETS HEAVY
uh yeah its got an ambient sloppy spanish guitar kinda opening then just goes right into a punky screamy almost snooty kind of song with all sorts of overtones and undertones about drunken soldiers and shit and oh yeah also the use of the word fuck, excessively... again.
dueling solo guitars, the first ever recording with the new luna... stereo'd ok vox, and an unrelenting beat. enjoy!

The guitar sounds like L7, which is epic.

This has the best vocal melody in it.

Definitely your post 'punk' song.

Really hard to describe this, but it's very \m/(><)\m/

I love the intro on the album version too.

One word: TABLATURE!

July 18, 2009

Author's Response:

no stealing!
lol i wish i could write tabs, then i wouldn't have to remember how every single song is supposed to go all the time... who knows how many GBs of brainpower i use up just keeping it all up in the ol noggin...
a friend of mine suggested i use one of these programs that can make sheet music while you play. i told him, 'that would be cool, but i'd probably either a) screw itup, so the sheet music would be wrong anyway, or i would b) do what i normally do and just kind of improvise off of what i know IS the right way, so in the end no matter what i do the sheet music will be wrong.'

I don't understand why people don't like the intro. I builds an almost melancholy ambience that's shattered by anger. Which is pretty much the majority of grunge. The "scream" is placed perfectly, as are the guitars, and vocals. Drums are a little too cymbal-ly but that's just me. I do proclaim thee the Prince of Neo-Grunge.

I'm not much of a fan of the intro, it seems too empty and barren if you know what I mean, although it has some neat ass effects.

When the vocals kick off it really had me, I mean, you know when the first line of a song is "So Fucking What?" that your in for a great ride.

The guitar, drums and vocals all blend amazingly together, and it's angry, which I like a lot. So have a 9.
