*UPDATE*
------------
I decided to fix this up some more, and changed the drum sample to my own original that I incorporated in my other song, "Dance of the Spirits". If you like it, then I'll leave the fixed remix as is, and if not, then I will put back the oldie remix, just right back in there. It's all up to you, people of NG. Thanks for all of your support. I'm glad that you guys like this song so much. I really appreciate it. Thanks ever so much.

Here's the Stats of when I posted the oldie remix: (just as a reminder ;D)

Wow. It's been a long time since I've updated, eh? Well, just a little something new. Got rid of the new drum sample, and changed it back to how it originally was. I thought it'd sound better if I did. Changed some little things around. Increased some of the basses and synths volume and clarity... and shtuff.

Added some equalizing. Nothing much. Messed around with the reverb of the drums and the delay for the flutes so they sound more in time and tune. Thanks for loving this song guys, really. I really appreciate it. Lowered the tempo to 166 as well. So it doesn't sound too fast, you know? Since you have been complaining about that the most XD

And Finally here it is. The Full Remix of "Stranger in the Desert", the intro song at the start of Megaman X: Zero 2. As I said before, it was something that I've wanted to remix since I was about 12 years old. I loved this song, and hopefully you guys will say the same ^_^. I worked very, extremely hard on it. Criticism is greatly appreciated, so please, review.

"Good, but not great."

I'll admit, it's aright. But you held off on using the real melody of the song for too long, and it detracted from it. The buzz bass used for it when it does come it doesn't fit the rest of the song.

Ultimately, I think you're pretty good at the drumloops- better than most I've heard, but this arrangement is unfortunately nowhere near as good as most I've heard.

One final nitpick point I'd like to make is that the title you chose is already taken by an OCRemix of the same song, which has been on OCR for a few years now- just thought you should know.

Author's Response:

I know about the title. I thought it was the original name for the song o.o So I just put it as so. As for everything else, I understand. I was going to update this but... there is no chance for that now =/ But thank you for your criticisms.

"not bad"

date: January 15, 2009

theres a lot of improvement in that mix yo, but its missing something it still pretty close to the same i cannot tell. perhaps you can make a energetic feel into it like crystalline ambience kind of feel you know. I cannot explain it anymore clearly but I think you get where I'm dashing at do ya?

January 15, 2009

Author's Response:

Hmm... more energetic... Yeah I get what you're trying to say. I'll try and do so! Thanks for the suggestion :D
