I worked extremely hard on this piece challenging myself as much as possible. I'm only 15 years old and I'm trying to stand out. I hope this song shows what I can do at my age. =D enjoy

Positively Stunning

This is beautiful. Earned a download. C:

It's very, very impressive for such a young composer. If this is what you achieved in a hurry, I'm absolutely floored.

You have a lot of musical talent. C: keep it up!

actually good

this song is not like the rest, most of your other songs are techno, and they are less then a dime a dozen, this one is fresh and if it were to be sold i would absolutely buy it, this song sounds like something that would actually be used in a movie or something like that, you got skills.

Nice start.

This song is actually quite decent for a first time and rushed... was it a first? Either way it was good, although a little repetitive it wasn't annoyingly so. You certainly have some nice variation and contrast there. I really like the fact that you manage to pull out all those instruments like that and use them properly. What program did you use? I hope you get better because this is a very good base to start from.
The only issues I had was the fact that it was so anticlimatactic and there are a few muddled bits where you have a lot of bass or lower instruments and they got a bit muffled, try to make sure that all your instruments are clear and clean.
There is certainly a lot of anticlimax eg you have an excellent build up to 0:46 then after that it just... sort of drops it, the build up was perfect! And then you do that wave like effect, unless you really want that I suggest that you put that sort of wave effect into a larger epic piece based on a panning view in an epic film, not this sort of piece, instead, carry the build up to an even louder crescendo, bring in the violins weaving in and out as the brass sour then pull it all down at the peak to a quieter section. Kinda like the 3:20 section that 3:50 ish section has a really nice violin and flute solo, listen to some of the Morrowind exploration and battle songs along with some of the best music mods this (http://au.gamespot.com/pc/rpg/elders crolls3morrowind/download_6094606.htm l) was my favourite with some great music, listen and see if you can learn from them.
Otherwise great job, as to repetitiveness, this song isn't too repetitive, it has some excellent variation which balances anything of that like. Very nicely done indeed.

Very promising, though a bit repetitive

You did some nice things here, although I also felt that there were some passages that you repeated too many times (for example, the crescendo followed by complete silence). It's usually best to have some surprises in such things, to keep the listener interested. I kept wishing for more variety; for example, for the constant background 16ths to eventually evolve into a distinct theme of their own, or for the 16ths to disappear suddenly, leaving the melodies on top without a rug under them for a time.

It's quite good overall, but it could have been expanded (not length-wise, content-wise).

ABITA responds:

Yeah. I know what you mean =\ I was in a hurry when I made this because the sounds I'm using aren't paid for yet lol. And so I had to complete this song within a weak =\. But thank you for the compliments and I'll be sure not to have repetitive melodies in such like that in my next songs. Thank you for the advice. Like I've said I'm only 15 and I've never been trained in composition or any music for that matter, so any criticism is great thank you very much.

That was excellent

Holy crap, that was amazing! It started off slow, but I love how it gained its speed and more instruements joined it. That was...wow! Very well done! The combination of melodies and instruments was amazing! The quality of the song itself is also very nice! This song is very beautiful--you did excellent!

A 10, a 5, and a download. Nice work!

ABITA responds:

=D Thank you very much I worked extremely hard and even missed school to finish this song, so knowing that you or anyone else enjoyed my music is completely worth it. Thank you very much you are extremely kind.
