Electronic - Drum N Bass

Author Comments

This track was inspired by my honeymoon in Maui.

Layers consist of warm electronics, phased breaks, and thick live drums.

Wow...really nice song

Loved the warm pads and DnB style drums over's surreal sounding almost!
I can see why Darthfett feels why the transition at 2:30ish is a little me it just sounded as if the song was going to end there because everything drops out for a couple seconds...don't get me wrong its not bad and its all up to you as the author as this is your creative piece of work which I thoroughly enjoyed. Anyway im giving this a 5/5 and a 10 so great job and keep up the unique tracks

Thank you, I appreciate the input.

I guess that was meant more as a transition but the layering was so minimal that it just didn't work as i had hoped. Perhaps that's just a lesson for me to take into account in the future.

Anyhow, thank you for the input.

Ooh, different. :)

This is great. It has a really nice feel to it, a bit relaxing, while at the same time keeping it interesting with some nice sounding drums (with great filters on them!) I loved the pads, they really made the song give a feel of awe and peace, while the light bells gave it a happy and relaxing feeling.

It reminds me a lot of some of the songs on ocremix (songs I have on my mp3 player).

I think the transitions at ~2:30 could use some work though. It was kind of out of place sounding.

Other than that, I couldn't find anything else wrong with the song. I'm probably not as music-knowledgeable as you.

I'm sorry to advertise, but it seems that reviews are the only place that you can actually get people to view your songs. I think it's only fair that I review you, you review me, but you don't have to if you don't feel like it (obviously :P)

NathanRain responds:

Well I appreciate it, and I left you two different reviews for the trouble.

As for the transitions, I somewhat disagree, though I understand your point about them sounding out of place, I believe it's just the layering.
