Lady Arsenic's first solo piece on this account! Huzzah!

This is an old Renaissance folk song that has been redone and thrown about for centuries. Well, now you get to hear how it is to be sung in Lady Arsenic's point of view. And in her point of view, there needs to be 5 Lady Arsenics singing at the same time (she calls it the Salon Quintet). This project took almost 4 hours to make. No lie, no kidding. Now, how did I manage to make my great studio microphone to work without glitching? Well, that's a big secret, and she probably won't do it again unless she needs to! Anyway, enjoy!

Lyrics:

Are you going to Scarborough Fair?
Parsely, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme
Remember me to one who lives there
He once was a true love of mine.

Tell him to make me a cambric shirt
Parsely, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme
Without no seams or needlework
And then he'll be a true love of mine

Tell him to wash it in yonder dry well
Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme
Where ne'er a drop of water e'er fell
Then he'll be a true love of mine

Tell him to find me an acre of land
Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme
Between salt water and the sea strands
Then he'll be a true love of mine

Are you going to Scarborough Fair?
Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme
Remember me to one who lives there
He once was a true love of mine

WOAH!

Great song. The singing was great and kinda haunting in a good way. The song kept kinda sad and kept that Renaissance feeling to it unlike other vers of this song I've heard. Nice work.

MaestroRage responds:

^_^ Thank you very much. I love to make everything I do a little on the eerie side. <3 I loved making this piece, so I'm thoroughly glad that you could enjoy it! Thanks for listening!

Not my cup of tea,

....but none the less very well done.
I personally didn't like the way this tune was done, but that doesn't mean I don't admire your skill at vocal work, and it overall sounded very nice.

Lady Arsenic, have you considered singing Lilium?

Amazing!

I love this song, and all you've done is make my favorite version! I think the thunderstorm fits very well, and like the idea of five singers at the same time! Fantastic job, as usual. Keep up the good work!

MaestroRage responds:

I love Scarborough Fair too. There's magic in those notes. ^_^ Aww, I'm flattered! I'm glad I've made a favorite version for you! You know, originally I was just going to keep this as just the 5 singers, cold turkey. But after some humming and hawing and talking to Ragey about it, we decided on some ambience for some flavah. =3 Thank you for listening, and thank you for your wonderful compliments!

Perfect

I can't give any critizism (or spell it, I think...) about this song. It is absolutley beautiful. This is my first song of yours to hear, and I am speachless. I can only imagine how this was made possible...

<PS>

MaestroRage responds:

Aw... Thank you so much! A lot of other songs on this account are mine too, but this is the only one I've done cold-turkey by myself (well... nah, not really. Ragey gave me the thunder and rain). But the answer to your wondering is patience. Lots.. and LOTS.. and L O T S.. of patience. But thank you for your kind words, and thanks for listening!
With love,

oh! magnificent!

this reminds me of a story, where a young soldier meets a young girl whom he instantly falls in love with. but the girl is in love with another man, but she hadn't heard from him for so long. deeply in love, the soldier sent word to the girls betrothed, knowing that he may never see the girl he truly loved again, he did it only because he loved her dearly. Awesome job :D

MaestroRage responds:

Aw... What a beautiful story. ^_^ My gratitude is forever yours, sir. Thank you so much for listening!
