Lady Arsenic's first solo piece on this account! Huzzah!

This is an old Renaissance folk song that has been redone and thrown about for centuries. Well, now you get to hear how it is to be sung in Lady Arsenic's point of view. And in her point of view, there needs to be 5 Lady Arsenics singing at the same time (she calls it the Salon Quintet). This project took almost 4 hours to make. No lie, no kidding. Now, how did I manage to make my great studio microphone to work without glitching? Well, that's a big secret, and she probably won't do it again unless she needs to! Anyway, enjoy!

Lyrics:

Are you going to Scarborough Fair?
Parsely, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme
Remember me to one who lives there
He once was a true love of mine.

Tell him to make me a cambric shirt
Parsely, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme
Without no seams or needlework
And then he'll be a true love of mine

Tell him to wash it in yonder dry well
Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme
Where ne'er a drop of water e'er fell
Then he'll be a true love of mine

Tell him to find me an acre of land
Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme
Between salt water and the sea strands
Then he'll be a true love of mine

Are you going to Scarborough Fair?
Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme
Remember me to one who lives there
He once was a true love of mine

Flawless!

This is so perfectly blended, and your voice is just breathtaking on all four parts. Thank you so much for doing one of my favorite songs! I've had a love affair with this piece since I learned to play it on the flute in 5th grade, but this is by far the most beautiful version I've ever heard.

=3 Awh.. I'm so glad you liked it, big sister. I remembered just how much you liked the piece, so who's better to dedicate this song to than you? My goodness, I've really outdone Simon and Garfunkel? I really liked their version... Really, it's partly what inspired me to do this in the first place. Ah well. ^_^ Love ya, sis!

My goodness, I'm so sorry to hear that, Fargh! I know how painful loss can be, and I understand how it is. I'm so glad we could help you out with at least this little treat for you. It's the least we can do. Feel better, okay, poppet? Thanks for listening!

Absolute beauty

Lady Arsenic has such beautiful voice. The "melody" is actually very nice created ambience. I like Renaissense music it's so calming. Using ambient background is really good. And you say you didn't took part in creating this stuff or what? Anyway the song is really nice. I like it.

PS: I'm even hooked to time lyrics for uploding it at the server of MiniLyrics (if you don't mind of course). I really like the song I tell you.

MaestroRage responds:

-^ ^- Awww, thank you. I'm glad to know I still have it, even though I don't have any more singing classes. I too am a huge fan of Renaissance pieces. They always have such original ideas in their melodies. Simplicity is the key, really. True, Ragey did put the thunderstorm in there, but because I asked him to. My sister, the one I made this for, loves thunderstorms. I had it in mind when I requested it. ^_^ Thank you for listening though!

INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!

Those were unbelievable voices!!! And I LOVED the style that you put it in!

MaestroRage responds:

^_^ Thank you so much! Believe it or not, I did not write the notation down before recording it. I experimented and eventually started improvising while I was in the middle of recording it! Thanks again though, and thanks for listening!
