I was inspired to make this ReMix after listening to somebody else's arrangement of the same theme, the Castle from Super Mario World. Like many others I've been a huge fan of the series' music for some time, but that particular theme is one of the most dark and exciting songs in any of the games, in my opinion. Even moreso than Bowser in Super Mario 64.

Anyway, the mix uses everything but the kitchen sink... huge custom synths, guitars, symphonic orchestra, church organ, you name it. I really wanted to bring out that ominous feel of the Castle theme and then amplify it further. Hope you enjoy it!

Ominisity is Mesmerizing!

Is ominisity a word? Well it is now. Excellent job on keeping the sheer evilness of King Koopa, even though he's usually beaten. I would love traversing through the castles with this music. I really liked at the end with the thunderclaps and sound of rain falling, I can see Mario on a bridge in a dark sky, lightning surrounding a large tower, where the boss resides.

want to hear the storry this makes me think of?

Mario gets sent to a future world were he wasn't there. so a land of dark sky's and lava every were. he runs to a giant castle and pears through a bard window and see's peach! But shes crying. then next to her he see's Luigi's hat and run like mad to the mushroom castle broken from within in tears he walks up to the door and then slowly opens it. then there in the moon light he see's the dead body of his own brother...he walks over to his body and cry's in the most saddest of ways that would touch your heat. Then through the dust lies the elder toad still alive! He tells Mario of a sad story of things that had happened and so then in that very moment he promised from right then he will set things right and vows to mater what it costs. And as he left through the door a single tear was shed for all that was lost...
