I was inspired to make this ReMix after listening to somebody else's arrangement of the same theme, the Castle from Super Mario World. Like many others I've been a huge fan of the series' music for some time, but that particular theme is one of the most dark and exciting songs in any of the games, in my opinion. Even moreso than Bowser in Super Mario 64.

Anyway, the mix uses everything but the kitchen sink... huge custom synths, guitars, symphonic orchestra, church organ, you name it. I really wanted to bring out that ominous feel of the Castle theme and then amplify it further. Hope you enjoy it!

Good God man I hadn't played Super Mario World in so long, but that Theme!! I'll always remember that catchy, dark, ominous theme that played every time I reached one of those castles. This is professional quality stuff....amazing work bro!

It's always a pleasure listening to your remixes zircon. You put much effort into them, and in the end, they turn out epic. Keep it up!

Just plain incredible

The way the instruments layer on top of each other builds up this phenomenal peak. Very creative work with the tune. Love the soft, haunting repose in the middle. The thunder at the end was a nice touch as well.

It's the best remake I've heard thus far, and I've heard some really good ones.
Congratulations on your total success. This is going on my iPod right now.
