I was inspired to make this ReMix after listening to somebody else's arrangement of the same theme, the Castle from Super Mario World. Like many others I've been a huge fan of the series' music for some time, but that particular theme is one of the most dark and exciting songs in any of the games, in my opinion. Even moreso than Bowser in Super Mario 64.

Anyway, the mix uses everything but the kitchen sink... huge custom synths, guitars, symphonic orchestra, church organ, you name it. I really wanted to bring out that ominous feel of the Castle theme and then amplify it further. Hope you enjoy it!

hmmm...needs more kitchen sink...

Lol! JK! I can hear hints of Illusion Forest in there. Don't think you can fool me! Nicely done! I like songs that add certain parts of other songs in it! Keeps me on my toes.

A W E S O M E !

Now if Nintendo wants a music for a Super Mario game with him using Guns and stuff, then they should ask for permission to use this version!

Kickass remix! It sounds fierce, frightening, dark, intense, burning and whatever other words you could connect with Hell. :D

Dude. This. Rocks. My. Socks!!!

This could totally be the music in the trailer of Mario meets James Bond!!! :D
It sounds slightly different in each section of the song. First it sounds like Mario is traveling through a hostile alternate dimension. Next, at 0:56, it sounds like he's being ninja and kicking some major Goomba butt. Then, at 1:44, it sounds like he's mourning something or he's walking through a dark, vast, deserted nebula of nothingness. Last, at 2:49, he's an epic ninja-warrior again, triumphant at last.
Absolutely a fantastic piece of work. 5/5, 10/10, added to faves, downloaded. You have made this user's Black Friday, good sir.

It's a 5!!

I have no clue why this has only been used in one entry the whole time it has existed on this website. For over a year, at least you were able to get over 100 reviews. I'm a huge fan of the Super Mario Bros. games and the music is some of the best as well. You have taken what was already great music and used everything you had to enhance it. You truly did throw in everything but the kitchen sink into this and the result is a masterpiece. It is something that everyone can listen to and thoroughly enjoy.
