I was inspired to make this ReMix after listening to somebody else's arrangement of the same theme, the Castle from Super Mario World. Like many others I've been a huge fan of the series' music for some time, but that particular theme is one of the most dark and exciting songs in any of the games, in my opinion. Even moreso than Bowser in Super Mario 64.

Anyway, the mix uses everything but the kitchen sink... huge custom synths, guitars, symphonic orchestra, church organ, you name it. I really wanted to bring out that ominous feel of the Castle theme and then amplify it further. Hope you enjoy it!

When I listen to this remix, I can't help but feel like a six year old kid again. When I was younger, in fact too young to play videogames myself, I used to watch my mum or my sister play Super Mario World. And I loved it. But my love for the game grew even bigger when I was old enough to finally play it myself. Even today this game has a very special place in my heart, and so does it's music. From what I hear you took your time to carefully craft each and every aspect of this remix until it was perfect. So for making me feel like a kid again and filling my heart with nostalgia, I shall give you 5 out of 5 stars. Well done, sir.

The background wave/synth/sound reminds me of "Rayman GBC Music - Rocky Peaks"

You're a true inspiration!
