I was inspired to make this ReMix after listening to somebody else's arrangement of the same theme, the Castle from Super Mario World. Like many others I've been a huge fan of the series' music for some time, but that particular theme is one of the most dark and exciting songs in any of the games, in my opinion. Even moreso than Bowser in Super Mario 64.

Anyway, the mix uses everything but the kitchen sink... huge custom synths, guitars, symphonic orchestra, church organ, you name it. I really wanted to bring out that ominous feel of the Castle theme and then amplify it further. Hope you enjoy it!

Pure badassary

I have listened to this before, like a year ago when it came out on the audio portal. I think i listened to it for like 2 hours straight while drawing a comic or something for inspiration. It is still as good as i remember it. Keep up the good work.

Those turtles are monstrous aren't they. How does mario manage to take them out all the time? Well maybe it's because he's such a badass. Boss level music for a mario game fer sure.
