Finally...a decent flute synth! The song sounded so much better with the new orchestral sounds that I decided to give it another go on Newgrounds. Enjoy!

"Originality is a plus"

Okay, the overall sound is decent, but whether this is a midi rip or transcription it sounds EXACTLY like the original. Try to put some originality into your work. I'm actually working on a remix of the song, and from that I know this song pretty damn well. If you're just going to remake the song with lower quality soundfonts...you might as well.

As far as the mix goes, I'd make the part right after the guitars when the string quarter comes in along with the more active percussion, use louder dynamics as that part has more energy. I'd also make the drums just a notch louder with everything esel too.

Props to having a good taste in music- but next time when you upload VG based content to NG - be original!

Author's Response:

It's supposed to sound like the original- the challenge is seeing how close to the original I can get using synthesized sounds and my ear. Sure, originality is good too, it's just not what I'm shooting for with this track.

And if by lower quality soundfonts you mean not a full orchestra, then I'm sorry but I don't have access to one.
