I found this midi without a name in a folder i found from a long time ago. i kind of remember editing the midi but i love the song so I'll see how it does here.

make sure you don't just vote on it because of the intro; you may want to skip into the 1:00 minute zone
oh and its loud so turn down speakers.

thanks to kaizerwolf for telling me that the name of the game it's from is descent.

Edit OMG! Top 50 list. number 13. Probably no more updates since you can't update after 1000 listens.

Really? I've never played it before. Well besides the beginning of the n64 version.
It doesn't seem like it would fit in that game... hmm...

Reminds me of this old flight game I used to play back in the 90's, lol

It is really a generic retro song. It brings back different memories for everyone =)

Only two things bugging me.

The high hat breakups past 1:20 don't work out too well especially at the hi-hat volume. Not trying to be the "omg-do-this" person but I think you should have filled those beats with a closed high hat hit. The ride breaking up works much better at its quieter volume, but still kind of ruins the groove.

Otherwise my only complaint is the bass drum and snare are soo quiet, I wish they were more pronounced. Otherwise nice job, it really sounds like a song I'd hear on the genesis or something.

I'll put this in my list of ways to change the song =)
