It...works...and that's about it.

The song itself is fine, but the guitar is very jarring, and the drums are waaaay underpowered. Try listening to the original song, and the beats where those drums are for the kind of power used there. These drums are just...really weak. The song loses a lot of power because of this - more like a prelude to a battle than an actual battle.

I'm with the others

The guitar needs work. Not sure what it is exactly, just a bit nasty, like they said. The guitar has promise though, just rework it. This is still a really good remix of one of my favorite battle themes from one of the best RPG's of all time, so I give a nine. Once you let it play through once, the second time through it seems to almost loop. Or at least it's working that way for me. It sounds good.
