Voice Acting - Voice Demo

Author Comments

I'm addicted to this series, and every time the opening song plays on my iPod, I start saying the first few lines of the show. I wanted to just get it out of the way and upload a fully produced version.

I did the light sound effect work, and the voice acting.

I just used the script they already had for the official English dub. I like it better than any fan translations. I don't know where the de facto rule that fandubs have to use fan translations came from, but it doesn't make a whole lot of sense...

Recorded and produced August 19, 2008

Great voice

You have an awesome voice, and thats seriously an awesome storyline (which id never seen before) It synchronized strangely with what I was reading on a random website earlier this evening. good work

You certainly know how to use your voice to sound near-professional, but having seen the anime, I can't say your voice itself perfectly fits the character. To me, it sounds a tad too young and slightly nasally. Kyon strikes me more as having a slightly deeper voice and sounding more mature. Good job with everything else though.

It was pretty good

But to be honest, it seems as though you put too much into it. When Crispin Freeman does it, he makes it seem like he really believes it. But it was still good

Hey, do you think you could send me the file that has the shows without the words, and just music and sound effects? that would be awesome. You did a great job, possibly better then the real dubber.
