I actually made something for once, since March this year... This isn't much, but I have another song on the way, which will be much harder and longer. This one just came along on the side, originally an experiment with the Sytrus synthesiser. And this is how it turned out. So ya, enjoy, maybe.

EDIT: Switched into looping mode.
Re-Edit: Changed the tune on the last bass pattern to make it sound better. Annoyingly, there's always a slight gap at the start whenever you export an .mp3, so it doesn't loop as well as I'd like it to. .Wav files loop a lot better.
ZOMG MOAR EDIT: The tune on the last bass pattern is still the same, but it's transposed down the octave. It's inaudible on laptop speakers, but much better on anything decent. PM me if for some reason you want to hear the original. =/

I never played many SNES games, only Super Mario World and Yoshi's Island, but I can kind of understand what you mean. Ish.
I usually think of this as a main menu theme for something like Thing-Thing. I reckon I should probably transpose the bass at the end down an octave, but I can't be bothered at the moment. It would waste three minutes of my life. D:
