This is my submission for the Drum N Bass Time Signature challenge. I wrote it in 5/4 and had a very hard time figuring out what I should do. I ended up going with an ambient-esque style. Yes it's short and there are a few flaws but this was really frustrating and I got tired of working on it. Maybe if I had more time I'd do more with it. Enjoy.

Note: It's called V1 because I might do more with it in the future depending on how much people like it and what placing I get in this contest.

a good try but it honestly just sounds like you took a saw and added detune, then threw in basic drums and a pad. sorry for being blunt. 4/10.

I wasn't making darkstep. I'm not Spor. I can't make amazing basslines.

The drums were simple because it's really hard to make a good sounding beat in 5/4 for this style.

Maybe it was bland, but that's how ambient-esque music is. It's meant to be simple and basic, not incredibly complex.

It's a good song, as you said yourself " there are a few flaws " , but nothing too big.
