This is a song that spawned out of my buying a very cheap Jew's harp, and playing with it. They're fun little instruments, and I found quickly that I had five different sets of samples of them. So I set it to work and began digging through all my ethnic instruments, finally finding a didge. So, together, with the rhythm of a Tabla, I started to write. It starts off slow, and picks up right where I hit composer's block and called up my friend Joseph Blair to record some guitar soloing. He sent back a good fifteen minutes of jamming at least, well thought-out. I began cutting reorganizing, layering and the like and wrote to his guitar. The moods change, the volume changes, and the presence of ambient noises and effects is abundantly clear even in its subtlety.

I worked a good long time on this, and I would very much appreciate comments and criticism! I have another song on the way with Joseph and it's likely to be attached to the long resonating end of this one.

Comments appreciated!

Excellent

Love this instrument, and I love how it was used here. Tastefully done & unique, a nice addition to my collection. Make more stuff like this.

Thanks! This just kind of fell together, and I hope to make more ethnic-sounding pieces in the future.
