Epic!
First off.. to really enjoy this... a subwoofer brings it to life. =]
I was listening to this song a few months back.. right after hearing a lot of Pendulum's new stuff.. and got to thinking.. you know what would really kick ass?..
A DnB remix of Feel Good Inc.
So right then.. I started to draft it up inside my head, and here.. a few months later, after progressing a bit more in my music making... here it is!
I had a lot of cool ideas with this.. one you may notice is that I psuedo-sidechained the bass and synth off of my breakbeat.. so it gives it a rhythmic feel.. and a bit of extra dynamics. I did some real careful glitch work, adjusting the glitch level via automation at an interval of every half-step.
Combine that with some interesting FX chains.. and.. I'd say it's probably my best track yet!
Rate, Review, and Enjoy! =D
Epic!
How cool can a remix be?!
I love the effects on 2-D´s voice and all this wicked backround sounds. Awsome!!!
Epic!!!
This is great!!! Its even better than the original!!!
At times though, I feel like its a little too fast, and a little off beat.
Still, this is one heck of a remix!!! Nice work!!!
Thanks man!
Interesting
Interesting take on the song.
If you ask me, I prefer your version, the original is too mellow and soft. No bass at all.
However, i'm not really adjusting to the increased tempo in your version. I think it's too fast. Perhaps slow it down?
I'd like to revisit it at some point to address some of what people have mentioned... dunno what I'd do with the tempo, either way... thanks!
Pretty good.
I love Dnb, and i think its pretty good, the vocal clips in it around perfectly met witht he beat.
The drums are kinda mellowed out tho.. and i think thats what kinda made me feel like it could be better.
Nice work, nonetheless. :)
Yeah. Nowadays I'm sure I could redo it with a great deal of kickassery. =D
