Nice Background:
The background reflects tense and mystery but in my opinion you gotta work the trumpet like melody at the end of the loop, try another patch and more strange effects for that channel.

Exactly what I was looking for.
It gives that feeling of insecure isolation, like when you know something's not right. It's exactly, right down to the title, what I was looking for. My only minor problem is it's a bit short. But, like I said, it's very minor.

This kind of gives me a feeling of someone walking into a room... suddenly feeling as if something isn't right, then turning around (cue music) and thinking "oh... crap" as they see a huge monster. nice! but a little too short!

Wow
I can definately hear the Metroid style in this. Creepy and fun all in one. It would be great music for a pre-boss battle, where Link is just starting to leave a room, and then the room shakes and he turnes around to see a huge, freaky creakure staring him down.
