So I was listening to the Goa radio today, enjoying life, slugging back some coffee and wishing I had a cigarette. But then all of a sudden I heard this... melody. It wasn't a melody though; it's something you can remember, but you definitely cannot hum. Too twitchy, too glitchy.

I opened up Reason and said "I bet I could totally do that, but with a melody that's more catchy and sweeter sounding". And for some reason, I just... wrote it out. No experimenting. Bam. Done. The rest of the song came just as easy, flowing off of my fingers. I got stuck at the half way point and talked to a guy on MSN, to whom I mentioned that I have writer's block on this song.

But as soon as I said it, I just said "alright, I'll just add a snare drum roll here". And then boom, the inspiration was right back. I continued the song vigorously, knowing exactly what to add... thinking of things I never have before.

Newgrounds, this happens once in a God damned blue moon. I actually feel really, really inspired like I used to back in 2005. I write music cause I love it but... never anything like this. I just wrote a 7:33 long song in about 3 or 4 hours.

Enjoy Newgrounds (if this song, of all the songs I have, gets ignored... I would just have a terrible day. Always seems like people ignore my good songs and always give attention to the not-so-good ones) and keep it easy;

I can almost hear the "BUT" at the end.

So, another song from ZENON. There is always entrancing songs from ZENON. This one, I think you had the inspiration you needed. Really, it was really awesome. The melody is virtually nonexistant. But if you had add one, I wouldn't gave it a 10/10 and 5/5. Somehow it had nothing to do with thanking someone. And you fit in a few notes at the end that left people wondering.

i spent about an hour digging through your older stuff, went meh to most of it, and then i found this and went WTF where did this come from? And then i read the comment you posted and think, "Oh, he had a Zen moment."

Zen moment: its what i call it when one are thinking on a much higher level than normal and pull of things that would be normally difficult/impossible, like making such an excellent song in a short timeframe

You Never Sease to Amaze

Funny you should mention 2005 because indeed this is more similar to your older sound. You've gotten away from it lately. Still good... but different. Possibly due to the changes in environment. But a job well done on this one. Never give up on your music. Even during those times when inspiration is scarce. Music defines you. It's who you are. Never lose that.
