Alright, so here is my entry for the Ethnic Competition in the Audio Forum.
The challenge was to create a song in any genre, but include at least five ethnic instruments, and not all of them could be drums.
So on that note I'm going to walk you through the song, and point out all of my instruments.
0:00 - 0:14 The instruments that are there include African busket drums, and various African chimes and bells (Ethnic count = 2)
0:15 - 0:46 The same busket drums continue, while various, non-ethnic synths and basses play
0:47 - 1:00 A synth pad plays, and a pan flute is added (Ethnic count = 3)
1:01 - 2:11 The only new instrument added is a dulcimer that plays a nice upward riff (oh and some fun side-chaining!!!) (Ethnic count = 4)
2:12 - 2:26 OMG!! the big African drum solo! There are two types of drums here, Talking drums, and water drums, but to avoid the risk of seeming like I'm stretching for ethnic instruments, I'll count then as one (Ethnic count = 4)
2:27 - 2:55 A marimba comes in and plays a nice little melody (OMG Ethnic count = 5)
2:56 - End Everything plays out and is slowly removed until a resounding, echoey finish!

I feel that the one instrument that pans and goes boop bee boop could be be quieter and should just carry the song because it seems throughout the whole song it is leading the song being louder than most of the instruments. I personally would change the hi-hat at 2:12, but that's all in taste. I absolutely love how you put in all the percussion and the pan flute's melody. I like it a lot :]

I thought that this song was pretty good. However in some parts, it seems somewhat repetative. However it is a really great song. Nice job and it sounds great.
I'll admit yes, it is a bit repetitive. Oh well, thanks anyways!
