great solo's and yea there is no real guitar in it but i have to say that its a very good idea. drums are nice. whole song is nice!!! woww just listning too the bug solo just amazing!!!

SInce you didn't use FL Studio, this is the best piece of music I have ever heard! Bravo for pulling this amazing feat off. Keep making music like this. I will be watchful. =D

I'm thinking of using it in an animation or game!Too bad I suck at animating and can't make flash games due to the lack of flash all I can use is game maker.Great job though! 10000000000/5 1000000000000000000000/10

This song made me smile :D (not in the bad haha way) This is awesome :) Great arpeggios and solos. I can imagine someone playing this on the guitar. It is extremly fast. Very much tapping and things like that. Sweeping etc. I think that if i would practise this for like 6 ours a day in like 3 months I could play this. But it is REALLY fast :) Still I like the idea alot :) Nice touch in it. The only thing that is the real downer . Is the lack of velocity changes. Like how the piano is the same volume on every tone etc. When I make vst songs I try to make it as human as possible. Your way is definatly not a bad way. Just that I prefer the human sound :) What program have you used for this ? Renoise ? Modplug ? Guitarpro ? You should get yourself better vst:s then just send the midi to those vst:s and voila a perfect song. Still , I will give you a 5 and a 10 since it is just so inspiring :) Keep it up and I hope to hear more like this :) Collab possible ? In that case YEAH! Anyways ... Cheers. :)

Cakewalk Music Creator 3, with EDIROL VSC. The guitar tone was created with an audio plugin that came with CWMC3, called Amp Sim.

Once again, I need to reiterate that the solo was made exclusively with the computer. I'm not Herman Li, dude! I dunno if you got that already, but I don't like being perceived as some sort of guitar god, so I got this half-baked idea that every single one of my responses needs to state that. So, yeah, no REAL guitar work involved. Shame...

It sounds like it would fit right into a mega man game xD. Otherwise yeah, the composing skill shown here is incredible. Unfortunately, yeah bad hardware can = bad eq. But you did a good job avoiding distortion, so thats a plus. Yeah, I'd pay big bucks to see someone play like that for 6 min straight on a guitar. Wow, the blisters. The audio reachs a great epic climax at the end too. Overall very impressive stuff. Good luck with the competition too.

Huzzah! My penchant for melodic facepunches isn't as amateurish as I thought!

Avoiding distortion? As in clipping? Well, yeah, because I had to turn down all my softsynths CONSIDERABLY to even get the signal below 0 dB. (I used four separate DXi synths: one for instrumentation, one for lead guitar, one for rhythm guitar 1, and one for bass and rhythm guitar 2.)

As for the solo, I have to reiterate that it was purely synthesized. You probably got that before, but in case somebody starts thinking I'm some sort of Herman Li on steroids, well...

Thanks much for your time and input. I REALLY hope I get Reason or Garage Band someday so I can redo this and get even better results, instead of this bugged-out, low-quality audio....
